Becky Glass, Student intern
I am a Masters level student at Liberty University under the supervision of Megan Kennedy, LCSW. I have completed two years in my Masters program and am ready to see clients. I received my Bachelor's Degree in Development & Family Studies from the University of North Texas in 2015.
I am also the Office Manager for Flourish Counseling and have a passion for connecting clients with our counselors. I also have experience with at-risk children, youth, and families with Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA).
Since I am in graduate school, I can offer low, affordable rates to my clients. I can help clients who are experiencing stress, depression, or anxiety.
My counseling approach is based on the Cognitive Behavioral Theory (CBT), focusing on solutions and helping my clients change negative behaviors. I believe in Person-Centered Therapy, meaning that the clients are experts of their lives and situations. My role is to facilitate this therapeutic process.
In my free time, I like to travel (specifically international travel). I recently traveled to India and loved engaging in a new culture. I like to hike and take weekend trips. I also enjoy creative things, such as chalkboard art and lettering. I plan to incorporate creativity into my future career in counseling.
I look forward to hearing from you. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions!
